The mantra AUM has always been central to Yoga practice; it is said to be the sound of creation itself and carries so many layers of symbolism and meaning. Traditionally we begin our practice by chanting AUM, it sensitises the mind and brings us into the present. The syllables of AUM change brainwaves, something we can experience for ourselves.
Chanting AUM has huge benefits in terms of health & well-being. It is a complete Yoga practice in its own right – and anyone can do it!
This will be a practical session. There will be discussion, but always in Yoga we learn through experience and your experience of AUM is at the heart of this session.
